Article Writing, I Should Have Paid More Attention In Writing Class Back At College

As a network marketer you must have realized the importance of starting to write articles. Creating your own content by writing articles for your website is imperative. Learning to write properly is second.

Being the publisher for The Article Group I see many article submissions. I am sorry to say that a majority of these articles are rejected. Loading my article directory with a large number of junk articles does an in-service to both authors and publishers.

What I Dislike That Leads To Rejection

1. Headline - Keyword phrase should certainly be the first words. No exception.

2. First Paragraph - It Should Be No More Than 38 Words. Two to Three short sentences with the keywords from your headline included near the beginning.

3. Single line paragraphs are scrutinized heavily.

4. Long sentences should be split into shorter ones. If a sentence is over two lines, it can be split up.

5. Do Not Put Links In Article. There is plenty of room in the resource box.

6. Body Headlines - Split the article with headlines in the body. Just keep them short and capitalize the first letter of each word.

7. Last Paragraph - This should be a summary of your article. Do not add links or beg to go to your site. Use the resource box for your begging. I do.

8. Resource Box - Try and keep down to four lines. Try to include the keyword phrases you are using on your site. If you are linking to an internal page of the site, use the keywords on that page, not your home page.

These are just eight of the guidelines I use. There is more that goes into accepting or declining articles written to my directory. I hope this article will help you in getting the articles you write published. Please follow them. If you do, I will publish your articles and so will others.

Building Links For Search Engine Optimization (SEO)

In the past all you had to do to get good rankings in Google and the other search engines was to trade links with several other web sites using your key words in the link text. Although this still holds true today, I have reason to believe sites are being penalized for not using a directory style link structure with no more than 25 links per page. Having a directory style links system on your site will make it more of a resource to your visitors and not just a bunch of un-organized links all lumped together on a single page.

There are of coarse other ways to attract incoming links to your web site without providing a link back or what’s called a reciprocal link.

1. There are thousands of forums out there that will allow your links in a short signature file at the end of each post. Join forums that are related to your subject matter and take part in the discussions. Make sure you use your key words in you signature file link and not just your URL. For a short list click on the following blog link http://www.bigmoolla.com/2005_03_06_archive.html

2. Submit your site to as many directories as you can. There are thousands of directories out there that will post your website into there directory for free and also some that charge a small one time fee. Again your title or link text is key. Make sure you are using your key words in your link text or title. For a short list click on the following blog link http://www.bigmoolla.com/2005_03_06_archive.html

3. Writing and submitting articles like this one with a small resource box at the end is also a good way to attract one way links back to your site. When you submit your articles to the many article directory portals you are getting links from the portal site, plus people will search for and use the articles from the portal site on their own sites. If you write just 1 good article and submit it to 10-20 portal sites you could end up with 100’s of back links over a very short time. For a short list click on the following link http://bigmoolla.com/submissions.html

4. Writing and submitting press releases work almost the same way an article works. You write the press release and submit it to PR sites. The PR site will submit it to the major search engine for a small fee and your press release could end up on Google and Yahoo news search the next day. People are also looking for free news feeds to syndicate on their web sites and blogs. If you write a good news piece it could end up on 100’s of blogs and other news sites around the web. Again make sure your web site link is in the news piece some were. For a short list visit the following blog link. http://www.bigmoolla.com/2005/01/write-and-submit-press-releases. html

5. Free classifieds may not provide you with much traffic but you can create hundreds of back links to your web site with a little time and effort. For a short list visit the following link. http://bigmoolla.com/classifieds.html

6. There are also web sites that will place your link on their front page as a sponsored link for a small fee. For this to work thou you need to make sure your links are up for more than a month or two. If the search engine picks up your link one month but its gone the next it won’t do much good.

So for those of you who concentrate entirely on reciprocal links and are wondering what has happened to your Google ranking, you may want to consider a few or all of the above linking techniques.

Good Morning Report

The time of year is here where people in my part of the world break out the big garden equipment and sprinkler systems and get to planting their food for the winter. Only a few months each year is what we get to grow stuff.

It’s hard to find the right stuff these days on the Internet. So many fake places spouting spammy nonsense. Here are my favorite (and REAL) resources so far:

Cultivators

There are more than 10 varieties of tillers. Larger tillers can be heavy and hard to maneuver so choose a tiller that matches your strength. Sometimes a used tiller can be found in the classifieds but compare online first. You can get some of the best deals I found out there on a rototiller from the Rototiller Store. If you visit the cultivator web store you will find out that you can find anything quickly. It’s a very nice site. Look into it soon. You can buy a rototiller in a store or online. They might end up cost about the same but one gets delivered right to your door. Great deal!

Energizing

I was skeptical too…but look, I had to tell you about this. I was always tired and I didn’t want to get my garden in this year. A friend showed this to me and BAM - got the garden done in a day. Sometimes I have to taste things at sample stations before I buy. I didn’t have to do that with this, it felt good the instant I signed up. I was up super late one night because I had only one around one pm one day. 2am! I can’t remember how many calories the drink has, but it’s low. There is a team at efusjon that is working under the domain Startup4Less. They are the ‘a’ Team. A solid upline and team if you’re looking for one. Time to start making more money - you might be rich already, but the product is great and the opportunity is even better. Check it out now. Visit!

Storing a Splitter

I hope you properly stored your log splitter this year. Keep your log splitter out of the elements with a heavy duty tarp. Keep the splitter sparkly. Visit the link I posted earlier for a good variety of low cost log splitters. The website has very useful stuff about log splitters, accessories and more. Their buyer’s guide is pretty decent too. Very useful intel for your next wood split purchase.

Chew on it! That’s a wrap.
